  • previous volunteer or residential summer camp experience
  • experience with children with neurological deficits
  • post secondary education in recreation, education or related field
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills

If you are:

  • 19 years of age or more
  • motivated, compassionate, energetic
  • a team player
  • willing to live on site in a cabin environment with campers

Our goal is to give each camper an interesting, safe and most of all fun experience and we need enthusiastic staff who love the outdoors and want to share that enthusiasm with our campers. Eureka Camp offers a unique opportunity to work with children and adolescents, ages 8 -18 with invisible disabilities such as ADHD, mild autism, learning disabilities etc.

Students enrolled in University/Community College outdoor education, classroom and community support programs will also benefit from this meaningful work experience.

Must Have:
(before camp start date)

FIRST AID AND CPR-CURRENT CERTIFICATION.
COMPLETED CRIMINAL RECORDS CHECK

Nice to Have:

Specific training in the field of Invisible Disabilities – Learning Disabilities
Class 4 drivers license
Wilderness first aid certificate
